I write your name on a frosty window
and wish all I felt was the cold glass
I should be over you by now
but time doesn’t pass

April showers down by the river
you’re walking barefoot in the grass
but that was last year
now it’s just raining
and time doesn’t pass

You called to say you miss me
you say baby can I come over please
yeah sure you left some books
and while you’re at it
take away these memories
you may as well have them
I’ve got no use for these

The summer sun won’t be hanging around
Autumn will come then winter but alas
our bonfire on the beach doesn’t glow
